Cardiovascular disease is the biggest killer in the developed world. The leading cause of death worldwide. Many risk factors of genetic predisposition, stress over the lifestyle and habits affect heart health.

This is a list of foods that have a positive effect on your heart:
First Olive oil
Olive oil reduces risk of heart disease, djalovanjem the level of cholesterol. The more often you use olive oil when cooking.
Second Fish
Fish is a perfect source of omega-3 fatty acids that protect your heart, because they reduce the risk of blood clots and prevent thrombo-embolic incidents. Omega-3 fatty acids also help maintain HDL cholesterol levels and healthy cholesterol levels. Eat salmon or other oily sea fish like tuna or sardines at least twice a week. The other fish will certainly not hinder.
Third Apples
Apples contain ingredients that have anti-inflammatory (anti-inflammatory) and will help prevent blood clots.Apples contain vitamins and fiber, and even come in several delicious varieties. Eat apples as a healthy snack or add apple slices to your salad.
4th Almonds
Almonds and other nuts contain healthy oils, vitamin E and other substances that will help in maintaining good cholesterol levels. Almonds are also a good source of protein and fiber.
5th Red wine
Red wine contains a powerful antioxidant, good for your heart, which is called resveratrol. Of course, be modest!
6th Green leafy vegetables
Green leafy vegetables contain folic acid which helps to maintain low levels of homocysteine, and vitamin E. Try to eat more fresh spinach or cabbage.
7th Tomato
Tomatoes are rich in vitamins and lycopene, which reduces the risk of heart disease. Add tomato slices to your sandwich or salad and eat it as often as tomato sauce. The tomato sauce, and even those who buy in the store contains more lycopene than raw tomatoes.
